Between 3 December until 10 December 2024 your donation to Easton Christian Family Centre will be doubled! That means that for every £5 you give to us, we get £10. This will be matched up to £7,000 meaning we could get £14,000.
This money will go towards warming up our building and fixing our leaking roof. Our total goal for the building is over a million pounds and we are a quarter of the way there. If you are able to give a gift to ECFC you will helping to keep ECFC a safe and warm place to so many across Bristol.
One of our regular members has been in the UK, with his two sons, for five months. Tragically, he lost his wife 3 years ago. This is the reality for so many refugees in Bristol – life is incredibly tough.
Families like his spend most of their time during the week sitting in hotels waiting for a government decision on their asylum claim. This is happening for hundreds of people in Bristol.
He says that he loves coming to church every week because it’s like heaven, he just feels at peace. ECFC is a safe haven for so many people across the city. Many charities use the offices to provide vital services across the city. What’s more, so many families and individuals are meeting Jesus at the weekly Bible studies, and we have seen a number of baptisms this year!
